Fees
The cost for each client to participate in the full program
is set at $350.00/day (Monday - Friday), which is
$1750/week CDN. Clients generally board with us, but there
is no additional fee for the weekend if you are a full time
client during the week. The fees quoted are in Canadian
funds. As currency exchange rates vary each day, we are
unable to give an exact rate, and use the rate in effect at
the time of billing. The US dollar is currently being
bought by Canadian banks for $1.06 CAN. The British Pound
is being bought at $1.74 CAN, and the Euro at $1.486 CAN
(Aug. 13/09).
We also see outpatients on a sessional basis, the fee for
that being $80/session (for about one hour each session).
Treatment for eating disorders can be very costly. You may
hesitate entering a treatment program because of the
financial burden it may place on you and your family, but
you do need to look at the long term benefits. If binge
eating is a problem for you, for example, there is a good
chance that you already spend a considerable amount on that
each year. It can be useful to put that expense into to the
context of what treatment will cost in the short term,
versus the financial burden this problem imposes in the
long term.
* Note: If you are from the United States you might be
curious as to why our fees are so low compared to treatment
centers in the United States. This is because Canadians are
not accustomed to having to pay for health care, therefore
our fees are fairly expensive from a Canadian perspective.
We are also able to offer a very effective program at these
low fees because we are a small facility based in a
residence and have very little overhead costs.
