Payment Options

A non-refundable deposit of $500 CDN is required following the telephone intake interview. This deposit will be fully deducted from your first treatment invoice. We ask for the first two weeks fees in advance, and thereafter bill clients every two weeks. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, Visa, Mastercard or Interac. We also require a two week notice of departure.

We are a private treatment facility, therefore we are not covered by any of the publicly funded health care plans in Canada (that we are aware of). If you are concerned about the cost of treatment, there are a few options that you might want to explore:
  • if you are actively involved with your church, they may be willing to assist in raising money for a small portion of your treatment
  • a community service club that you are involved with may be willing to help raise money for you
  • inquire about assistance from your insurance carrier, they may consider providing you with some assistance. US residents have had success in getting insurance coverage, but this seems to depend on which state you live in and which company and/or plan you have. Most insurance companies class us as either "residential" or "partial" , but not as "in-patient". That may be helpful to know when you speak with them.
